Your keys will be available from your building’s door man or front desk attendant upon your arrival. If your building doesn’t have one of these, a KG Furnished NYC representative will meet you at the building.
How far in advance can I book an apartment?
You can reserve an apartment anywhere from 30 to 45 days before your arrival. Yet, the approval process is a rapid one; in some cases, we can get you moved into your apartment in one or two days, once your paperwork is completed and payments are received.
Most of the buildings we rent require a one-time processing fee ranging from $50 to $500, depending on the building. We also require a final cleaning fee for when you vacate the apartment ($150 for studios, $175 for one bedroom apartments and $225 for two bedroom apartments), and a fully refundable, one-month security deposit that will be returned to you within 30 days of vacating your apartment, assuming no damages or additional utility charges. Depending on the apartment you choose, there may also be a broker fee. All fees will be disclosed to you prior to booking an apartment.
